Medicare and Medicaid

If you are looking for a Medicare Advantage (MA) plan or looking for a Medigap plan, you are in the right place. It is important to note that Medicare doesn’t cover long term care.

To qualify Medicare, the beneficiary must

• be at least 65 years old, or

• have disability, or

• have ESRD (End Stage Renal Disease), or

• have Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis)

The qualification of Medicare Savings Program is based on beneficiary's income and asset.

The qualification of Medicaid is

• based on income only if the applicant is < 65 years old,

• based on income and asset if the applicant is > 65 years old.
